This beautiful habotai silk scarf measures 56” L x 7.5” W.
I used geranium leaves, coral bell flowers and asparagus ferns in the eco-dyeing process. I use an iron mordant to hold the color from the plant tannins in the scarf. Depending on the moisture content of the plant material, you will get a different print. The colors of this scarf are muted but create a beautiful palette. The colors range from a smoky black to a sage green. The detail of the different leaves in amazing. Easy to wash simply wash by hand and let line dry, then touch up with an iron.
