Northern Lights Bag

Description

Combining various shades or purple and yellows I created this felted bag which reminds me of the northern lights from my home state of Minnesota.  I then added stitching to add interest and movement to the piece.  The bag was wet felted over a resist which allowed the merino wools to blend and cause no seams.  There is a small pocket on the interior.  The vintage button finished the piece and the leather straps and comfortable on your shoulder and strong.  The bag measures 12” X 12” and the straps are 16” long.
