Wood Duck Hooked Wall Hanging

Description

My career as a biologist got me up close and personal with a lot of animals.  One of my favorites is the wood duck.  I was lucky enough to see them coming out of their cavity with their young, it was quite a site!  TI designed this rug after that experience.  All the wood is hand dyed, and the hooking was done by me.  The backing is a piece of hand dyed wool to mimic the green in front. The piece measures 11×12”
